Tapping the Brakes

Whoa, boy!!!

The train has been rock and rolling along. Working on projects, getting settled into our new home and community, catching up with friends who landed here since we left, raising one very busy little boy.

Good Lord, I'm tired. ArmyMan has been busy (of course) and has left much of the settling in to me. Monkey had a tough time with the move and is only now settling in to something approximating his previous routine- with addition of some serious toddler tantrums and an intense dislike of hourly care.

I'm having a balance problem. You see, I'd planned on slowly building up my photography studio once we got settled. But I ended up having appointments before we'd even moved in. It's just gotten busier from there.

Don't get me wrong, that's a good problem to have! Unfortunately, though, I didn't hit the ground running like my business did. I've been playing catch up since the first of August and I don't feel like I'm making much progress. Blogging, my home, my running, and various other details (which one depends on the day) are being neglected in one way or another and I feel like I'm chasing wisps.

So what's a girl to do?

My current ideas are to pull a couple all nighters to get ahead of the game a little, run away screaming or adjust my system to pull things together. I'm working on that third one but keeping the second in reserve.....just in case.
